I am Leontine (51), a model and photographer with over 30 years of experience in the international fashion world. At eighteen, out of shyness, I entered a modeling contest – and discovered my strength in front of the camera. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. My internist said that modeling was no longer an option, but my intuition said otherwise. With discipline, good organization, and a healthy stubbornness, I built a career in which I worked for beautiful brands, saw much of the world, and was constantly allowed to reinvent myself.
After my years full-time in front of the camera, I studied at the Fotoacademie and began to develop as a portrait and lifestyle photographer. That work suits who I am: sensitive, observant, and focused on genuine connection. I live in Alphen aan den Rijn with my son (17), and enjoy yoga, walking, cooking, and – not surprisingly – photography. When I heard about MCC, it felt like a natural step. I am increasingly asked to create content myself and I enjoy combining my experience as a model and photographer. I look forward to creating authentic, timeless, and credible content together with MCC – where real women and real stories are central.
