I was twelve, wore glasses, braces, and already had a larger size. No one saw a model in me then – except for the neighbor who once saw me walking with a garbage bag in my hand and exclaimed: “You should be a model, you walk so elegantly.”
That comment, followed by a flyer in the mailbox and a vacationer in Spain who asked if I was a model, set something in motion. I hesitated – I didn’t fit size 36 and knew I never would. But I had something else: a strong presence, my own identity, and a body that lives, moves, and carries.
Today, I am a curvy model. I train, I take care of myself, and I embrace my curves. Not despite, but thanks to who I am. My work stands for visibility, self-confidence, and femininity in all sizes.
