I was scouted at sixteen and almost immediately signed two modeling contracts: one in the Netherlands and one in Paris. Barely a month later, I left with my mother to Paris to discover whether modeling really suited me. My first shoot was with photographer Paul Morel and marked the beginning of an adventurous period full of travel, fashion weeks and couture shows. I combined my work with school and soon discovered that I felt at home in the fashion and creative world — it gave me confidence and the feeling that I was allowed to shape my own path.

After my studies, I decided to take a gap year to work full-time as a model, but noticed that I wanted more creative control. I started at AMFI, deepened my love for concept, image and story-telling, and started with photography, social content and styling for various brands. I have now been working freelance for over two years and combine my experience in front of and behind the camera. This combination means that as a model I think along, sense what a brand wants to convey and at the same time can build atmosphere, style and authenticity with a creative eye. I prefer to work together on something that is right – in image, film or edit.
